Standing at approximately average height for a male Hyur Midlander, Isaac appears to be in his early twenties with short, somewhat unkempt, brown hair. Isaac's build looks to be on the medium side but can be hard to determine depending on the type of clothing he's wearing.Often wearing a reasonably straight-faced expression, Isaac's green-hued eyes are rather small and have a tired look about them beneath the thinly framed pair of rimless-glasses that rest upon his face. A neatly trimmed and modest goatee is another of Isaac's potentially distinct facial features, giving his face an additional sense of symmetry.Isaac's wardrobe often depends on the occasion he is dressed for, but he can most often be seen dressed in a long white coat over a dark blue and purple embroidered vest, with a pair of white gloves and similarly decorated dark blue pants to match his top.
Personality
Being rather reserved and to some enigmatic, Isaac can be a difficult individual to understand. Although slow to share personal thoughts and emotions, Isaac is distinctively direct in his manner of speech, preferring honesty and openness. These mannerisms can lead an individual to the conclusion that Isaac is calculating or cunning.

Despite Isaac's quiet nature, he is particularly compassionate in the interest of helping others, often going to great lengths and devoting himself wholly to do so. This trait often leads to Isaac declining recognition for his deeds, or forgetting about himself and becoming overworked.
It is my firm belief that simply by assisting others, I have the potential of inspiring them to do the same.
Although something of an idealist, Isaac has an inherent sense of morality and the conviction to work tirelessly to achieve his aspirations. This characteristic, however, can leave Issac feeling restless, or disheartened when faced with a grim reality and often leads to Isaac developing unhealthy habits to advance the pursuit of his goals.

Biography
Born in Gridania to Edward and Izebelle Forester, Isaac spent a significant majority of his childhood at his family cottage deep in the forests of the Shroud, several yalms away from the city of Gridania. Isaac's mother was a botanist by trade using their home's location to her advantage to keep a sizable garden to grow her botanical ingredients which she would sell in Gridania. Isaac's father meanwhile was a hunter, spending much of his time in the forest or the city exchanging, more often than selling, the meats from the day's hunt for various everyday necessities. While not particularly lucrative this lifestyle granted Isaac a firm grasp of self-sufficiency and the skills that come with it, specifically of Botany.
Late in his childhood, Isaac's difficulties with sight became more apparent, prompting his mother to seek the assistance of Garenaeux Akestor, a family friend and prominent member of the Conjurer's Guild in Gridania. After concluding that Isaac would require eyeglasses to correct his eyesight, Garenaeux and his wife gifted a pair to Isaac and his family.Entering adolescence, Isaac took up more responsibility, assisting his mother with the garden and on occasion his father with hunting. Although not particularly skilled with a bow, Isaac quickly grasped the necessary skills for a proficient Botanist.
Some years later Isaac awoke one morning to find his mother severely ill after returning from Gridania the day earlier. When his mother's condition had continued to worsen and showed no signs of stopping, Isaac's father departed for Gridania to seek help. Come the break of evening Isaac's father had still yet to return, driving Isaac to navigate the trip to Gridania himself. Getting turned around on his journey, Isaac found himself wandering the forests of the Shroud throughout the night, before stumbling upon a corrupted Wind Sprite. Isaac was able to escape from the Wind Sprite but not before suffering a deep wound on his left forearm.
Awaking in the Conjurer's Guild after the ordeal, Isaac was later told of the circumstances of his arrival and questioned as to determine the fate of his father. News quickly spread through Girdania that a young boy had lost his parents through the course of a single night, and several nefarious rumors relating to the events began to circulate, although very little came of them. Soon after, Isaac would be taken in by his current parents, Gareneaux and Eleyette Akestor.
Once Isaac had grown more comfortable in his new environment, he joined the Conjurer's Guild. Much to his peers' frustration, Isaac received some amount of preferential treatment from a number of its senior members, including his parents. Those who got to know him would soon change their opinion on the subject after seeing firsthand how diligent he was in regards to his studies. Shortly, Isaac's reputation would improve again when he sought out his fellow apprentice Conjurers to exchange what they had learned. Many amongst the Conjurer's Guild came to regard Isaac positively, often appreciating him for his humility and honesty.
As Isaac's training progressed well past the more advanced stages of Conjury, Isaac began to study other subjects relating to medicine. Due to Garenaeux's familiarity with the craft, Isaac soon began studying Alchemy and shortly after began receiving short lessons from his adoptive father. Seeing Isaac's interest in Alchemy continue to develop, Garenaeux continued to preoccupy Isaac with his minor lessons in Alchemy, before finally offering to send him to study at the Alchemist's Guild in Ul'dah.
